Terms of Service

Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is only formed when we send you the order-confirmation email confirming dispatch. We may decline an order before dispatch — for example if an item is out of stock or if there is a manifest pricing error — and we will refund any payment taken.

All prices are shown in your selected currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD or AUD) and include any applicable VAT for UK and EU destinations. For destinations outside the UK and EU, prices are exclusive of import duties and taxes; any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient. The final total including shipping and tax is displayed on the checkout page before you pay.

We try to keep pricing accurate. If a manifest pricing error has occurred (for example, a kit listed for $0.05 when its true price is $35), we will contact you, cancel the order and refund any payment taken.

Card payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe over a TLS-encrypted connection; we do not see, store or have access to your full card details. Strong customer authentication (PSD2 / 3D Secure) is applied automatically where required.

The descriptor on your statement will read “EMBSUPPLY KIT”.

We ship from Elgin, Scotland. Typical delivery times by region are listed on our Shipping page. We are responsible for the goods until they are delivered to the address you provided. If your parcel does not arrive within the expected window plus a reasonable buffer, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (and equivalent EU rights under Directive 2011/83/EU), you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. We will refund the cost of the goods and the basic outbound shipping cost (not any premium upgrade you may have chosen) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.

Some items are excluded for hygiene reasons: opened needle and pin packs cannot be returned. Sealed kits, and opened kits where the materials have not been cut, stitched or used, may be returned. The full process is documented on our Refund Policy page.

If goods are faulty on arrival or develop a fault from a defect that was present at delivery, you have a statutory right (Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK; equivalent EU rights) to a refund, repair or replacement. This is in addition to the 14-day right above. Email support@embsupplyco.com with photographs within a reasonable time of noticing the fault.

All content on embsupplyco.com — text, photographs, PDFs, charts, patterns, logos — is the intellectual property of EMB SUPPLIES LIMITED or licensed to us. You may use it for personal craft enjoyment. Resale of finished works using our patterns is permitted only under the terms of our Content Licence.

You agree not to misuse the site (for example: attempting to gain unauthorised access; scraping; attempting to disrupt the service). See our separate Acceptable Use page.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law. Subject to the previous sentence, our total liability arising under or in connection with these terms is limited to the price paid for the goods.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer resident outside Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live, as provided by mandatory law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Orders are governed by the version in force when you placed your order. Any material change will be highlighted on this page.
